Just a reminder!

Please do not forget that FUEL is not happening tonight.  We had some issues with some permits and architectual drawings so we are postponing FUEL to a date that is TBA!  Thanks guys so much for the prayers and we will keep everyone updated!  Thanks!

We have a FUEL information meeting tomorrow (Wednesday August 20) at 7 at the HOUSE OF ROCK.  We will be discussing the vision of fuel and give information to anyone interested in volunteering!  Please, if you are interested in volunteering email me at jake@oakleafchurch.com!  I hope to see you all there!

Well I hope all of you are PUMPED up about FUEL which is beginning on Wednesday, September 3.  Every night we will have pizza, drinks, video games, Matt Moody leading worship and Michael teaching.  If you have ANY ideas about anything involved with FUEL the please please please feel free to email me at jake@oakleafchurch.com  Thank you all so very much for trusting Oak Leaf with your students!  I am stoked about what God is up to!

SPLASH Info

The check-in will at 4:30-5:30 on Wednesday, July 30 at Tabernacle Baptist Church. You can pick up your students at Tabernacle at 3 on Saturday, August 2.

The students will be staying the nights at Tabernacle Baptist. During the day they’ll do service projects such as light construction projects, sports outreach at local parks, and Backyard Bible Club type events. In the evenings, students will take part in a worship service.

What to Bring:

• Bible
• Sleeping Bag & Pillow
• Water bottles (refillable is best)
• Towels
• Suntan lotion
• Work Gloves if desired
• Closed toe shoes
• Long pants for construction (if applicable)
• Toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc)

If you would like to come and help with a project, supervise and be a part of SPLASH in any way, adults are invited to come as well. Email splashbartow@gmail.com to get involved.

SPLASH Camp Registration Closes Today

It seems like it’s gone by so fast, but SPLASH Registration closes today.

Please be sure that you have registered today. Call me at the Oak Leaf office or email me at nathan@oakleafchurch.com with any questions or concerns.

If your student is registered and you want more details, please standby. I’ll post them on here later today, as well as try to email them to you.

MovieFest CANCELLED!

Due to the heavy rain, MovieFest is cancelled tonight, June 13. A rescheduled date is unknown right now, but check back to see!

Last Week of Wired

Make sure your middle school students are at the last week of Wired this coming Sunday, June 29.

Wired has been great and I’m proud of all the students who have been a part of it so far.

Be looking out for new plans for middle and high school students coming in the fall. Until then, make sure your students are at the Endless Summer events throughout the summer!

Pulling the Plug on Wired

Before you get any negative feelings or presumptions, we are not quitting Wired.

Here’s what we are doing:

We’re going to stop having Wired through the summer until we re-launch some new student ministry stuff in the fall (we’re holding off the announce this right now).

The last week for Wired will be June 29.
